Analytical and Numerical Methods for Applied Electromagnetics:

This research involves developing hybrid approaches which combine the analytical and numerical methods in order to solve applied EM problems in a rigorous and efficient manner. Following the hybrid approach strategy, the following research projects are performed in CIARS:

• GPU Accelerated Ray Tracing Generic Tool combined with FDTD solver for Channel Modeling.
• Spherical Vector Wave approach for MIMO antenna design and analysis.
• Application of non-radiating sources for inverse source problem
• Hybrid method of Method of Moments and Reciprocity Theorem as a very fast and efficient method for including the metallic fixture package effects in the antenna performance
